September arrives under the Mayan Galactic Tone of "6" which is representative of "Flow", referenced from the MayanMajix.com website's daily Tzolkin calendar.  As many of you know, the Tzolkin is the sacred ritual calendar used by the Maya, dating back to the beginning of their culture, and perhaps before. "Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life", the site says, and "It is the movement of volume through space that creates Time". The Mayan Sun sign for September 1^st is "Reed", with the lesson of the Reed being one of flexibility.

A New Nine: Receive the Upgrade  by Peter Kime

Coinciding with the beginning of the Galactic Creation Cycle (as understood through the Mayan long count calendar), in 1999 new archetypes for being a Divine Agent of Divine Love appeared in the spiritual fields. At that time I accepted the assignment to articulate a new letter, the 27th letter of the English alphabet, to house these new patterns and thereby make them available through simple speech and writing. As a nine resonance, the new letter offers new intelligence for loving more wisely, compassionately, and completely. Merely writing or sounding the letter allows you to access the intelligence within the fields of these new archetypes. Over the past 10 years, 14 words using the new letter have been given to me. These new words offer a more sophisticated access to the metatones within the letter and activate the higher order reality they define. Did You Know? ....."The Anasazi Indians occupied Chaco Canyon from about A.D. 400 to 1300.  In this arid and unproductive region, these early inhabitants left evidence of a skilled and highly organized society. They constructed multistory pueblos and large ceremonial centers, and developed extensive systems of roads, irrigation, communication, and trade. The Anasazi had established an accurate calendar for agricultural and ceremonial purposes. To do this they determined the recurrence of the solstices and equinoxes. This astronomical knowledge was commemorated in the design and alignment of major buildings. The precision of the historic Pueblo calendar has been described in a recent study of its synchronization of the monthly lunar cycles with the annual solar cycle.

"Near the top of an isolated butte in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, three large stone slabs collimate sunlight in vertical patterns of light on two spiral petroglyphs carved on the cliff behind them. The light illuminates the spirals each day near noon in a changing pattern throughout the year and marks the solstices and equinoxes with particular images. At summer solstice a narrow vertical form of light moves downward near noon through the center of the larger spiral. At equinox and winter solstice corresponding forms of light mark the spirals. We found that the relationship between the shape and orientation of the slabs and the resultant light patterns on the cliff is a complex one and required a sophisticated appreciation of astronomy and geometry for its realization. The site is unique in employing the varying height of the midday sun during the year to provide readings of solar declination. In this respect it is clearly different in concept from the many archeoastronomical sites throughout the ancient New and Old Worlds that tell the passage of the year by marking the rising and setting points of the sun and moon.

"Autumn equinox (21 and 22 September). After summer solstice, both the shape of the light patterns and the paths they follow change each day. The time that sunlight shines through the left opening increases, and the pattern of light grows gradually from a spot to a slender inverted triangle. This form starts each day closer to the smaller spiral and eventually moves down across it, first passing to the left of the center. Each day the downward path moves a little to the right, until at equinox the light form passes through the center of this spiral, just as the other light form passed through the center of the larger spiral 3 months earlier at summer solstice. After equinox, the path continues to move to the right. A week before or after equinox, the form passes clearly to the left or right of the center of the small spiral."

My mail carrier delivered a ‘Dear John' letter to me this week. It was from a project I had interviewed for, and frankly, was the most perfect person on the planet to manage. Apparently that was only in my mind, hence, the letter. Thank you, but no thanks.

A couple of nights later, I had a dream.

We sat around a table, and I was running a meeting for another project launch, one I really am working on. I was called away, only to find out the Dalai Llama was in the same hotel, and I would be performing the sacred incense cleansing ritual called ‘Puja' on him, and I had to select the incense from the store and get over there. Finding my way to where he was, we greeted one another, bowed to one another, and promptly excused myself to go and tell my fellow meeting group, whom I had called together, that I had been chosen for this service and they would have to wait. They weren't happy.

I must have started turning blue, probably from lack of oxygen. Just then, the Dalai Llama pressed his fist against my forehead, and laughing, pushed me onto my back. He placed a bitter herb in my mouth, and spoke to me like a kind father, saying that if I were going to do that again, I must use the herb if I wanted to stay on the planet. Or something like that.

After coming to my senses (what WAS that herb?), I returned to my meeting group, and found the table abandoned, save for 1 individual, who reprimanded and berated me for leaving a meeting I had called together!

Upon waking, I thought about the vivid dream. How interesting considering the ‘Dear John' letter I had received a few days before. Which was more important? Running a simple project meeting, or performing Puja and energy healing on the Dalai Llama?

It made me see the rejection letter in a whole new light, and know deeply there are more important things for me to be doing. Thank you Beloved Universe for supporting my Highest Purpose once again.

Happy Birthday Virgos, you little analyzers you! Practical because you're an Earth sign, and good communicators since you are ruled by the planet Mercury, you bring to us the focus of work and the ideas of service.

This month could be dominated by the energetic alignment of 9/9/9 were it not for the planetary relationships expressing themselves and their dance in the Milky Way. But I'll get to that in a minute.

On the 4^th we feel the effect of the Full Moon in Pisces, a time when we may feel a bit more emotional, especially since the Moon will be in opposition to the Sun(as it always is during Full Moons) adding to increased feelings of stress for some. Mercury has four periods of retrograde motion in 2009, and on the 7th, we enter the third. It last until the 28th, and astrologers frequently advise not entering into any important contracts during a Mercury Retrograde period. The New Moon on the 18th occurs in Virgo and perhaps offers us the opportunity to analyze what has or has not been working in our lives, and draft plans for a new path on this day. The Autumnal Equinox arrives on September 22nd at 5:19pm as the Sun enters Libra. Celebrated by ancient cultures (see article Did You Know above...) the fall equinox reminds us once again that change is coming and transformation afoot. The energy of Libra will help us balance that movement.

Bigger news, I think, is what's taking places between the planets. Saturn in Virgo: Saturn has been the taskmaster this year, and deals with rules and regulations while unpredictable Uranus expressed in Pisces has us dealing with issues of manipulation and dominion in the context of cleansing and disintegration. The two in opposition to one another has us feeling quite pulled, and issues of fairness and justice may be present in our lives. The last time the two opposed each other (besides February of this year) was 2001, and you may recall tremendous change through destruction occurred.

Still a very powerful influence in our lives is the dance that Chiron and Neptune are doing. Conjunct in the late degrees of Aquarius which remains into 2010, they represent the healing of old wounds and breaking through illusion. Jupiter joins the party in December, and we'll hopefully experience an expansion from the constrictions this battle has created in our lives.

We're also feeling the effects of a grand cross involving Mars, the planet of action and desire. In August after it left Gemini, it squared Uranus and Pluto, with Mercury and the asteroid Ceres adding one corner and Saturn eventually filling in a spot. Squares usually represent a challenge, as they symbolize the struggle between two forces whose purpose directly opposes the other at 180'degrees. Important to remember: the old motto ‘what doesn't kill us makes us stronger' is applicable here! Speaking with a friend recently, I heard myself saying, "God must think an awful lot of me to put so much on my plate!". Maybe your life has felt the same recently.

I can tell you that all the Realms of Light are cheering you on, and honor your courage and dedication.
