Also on the 9th, an incredible gathering is taking place at a sacred site in France. For those of you who are new to receiving my newsletter, the Grand Maya Itza Council, speaking in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico in November 2008 released the following information. "Every Full Moon we are going to make a spiritual journey to every one of the sacred sites on the list, starting our first ceremony on November 13, 2008, and continuing that way until carrying out the last ceremony on December 28, 2012, completing an initiatic cycle of 52 moons. The ancient Mayas used to make these spiritual journeys to the ancient ceremonial centers in order to activate all the sacred sites from all around the world. During the ceremony, both the ritual conductors as well as the whole humankind will be asked to keep their minds clear so that our understanding ability can be illumined and we can understand the wisdom of the universal intelligence."

TOOLS...Practicing the Cleansing Breath...
When you find yourself feeling emotions that cause your solar plexus to tighten up (you know, that tense, hard place beneath your breastbone that feels sore if you push on it?).....take a moment, and focus on releasing that pressure by using a cleansing breath. Breathe in deeply, tuck your chin down, tighten your buttocks muscles, pull n your stomach, and hold your breath while gathering all the tension and pressure into a ball inside you. When ready, tilt your head back, and exhale that breath against the back of your throat (like a cat), releasing the ball and sending back to Source, to be transformed.

Did You Know?
"When the Moon is Full in the constellation of Scorpio and the Sun is in  completed His noble mission in His eightieth year, He retired to Kusinara, a small hamlet, and lying on a couch between two Sala trees, passed out of physical limitations and Ascended in a peaceful state of mind on a Wesak Full Moon Day more than 2500 years ago.
Only a handful of the spiritually minded recognize the Inner Significance of the day. The dates of Christian holy days are established by past events or by happenings which occurred centuries ago. The Wesak Festival is in recognition of a present living event. This Heavenly Event takes place annually at the time of the full moon of Taurus (often called the "May Full Moon"), and at that event there is released upon Earth (according to the measure of man's demand) the Blessing of God Himself, transmitted through Gautama Buddha and Lord Maitreya, the Cosmic Christ. This happening has its physical / etheric counterparts. Paralleling the spiritual ceremony, an event of importance also takes place simultaneously in a little valley in Tibet, on the further side of the Himalayas. It is there that the earthly ceremony of blessing takes place, and to that valley many people in and around the district find their way as pilgrims towards the Light." Blog....The Middle Path
Thinking about my Blog's message this month, The Middle Path, as taught by Gautama Buddha, I was driving down the mountain, rounded a curve and saw a squirrel sitting in the middle of the road. Not on one side of either yellow line, but smack dab in the middle between the two. "Now there's taking The Middle Path", I said to myself, amused by the synchronicity of my thoughts and demonstration by Spirit.
Recently, I've found myself awake quite a bit in the middle of the night, and it is then I enter into dialogue with God, with Spirit. This week I contemplated Buddha's teaching, with the anniversary of his birth, and Illumination approaching this month. His teaching of the "Eightfold Path" stresses the path that leads to the cessation of suffering, and eschews these through a state of Perfection in each. I have found in these timings that "Perfection" can be a challenge for many that may seem unattainable, so I substituted "Right", and sought to embrace His wisdom through that Perspective.
Right view
Right resolve
Right speech
Right conduct
Right livelihood
Right application
Right mindfulness
Right concentration
To me, these aspects when acted upon bring us to a centered state of Being. Perhaps that is called The Middle Path. Through practice of these doctrines, you are unaffected by the chaotic pull of fear, drama or tragedy. You become unaffected by the hypnotic trance of ego, and remain mindfully present in the now.
And as we know, thanks to Eckhart, true power lies in the Now.
Getting back to that squirrel I saw sitting in the middle of the road, he saw my Saab barreling toward him, and I'm sure, in the Now of the Middle Path, thought it prudent to run for cover.
He survived.
Perhaps there's a teaching for us in that example as well.

It’s In The Stars For May
What a show the Planets and Stars are putting on for us this month! First of all, Happy Birthday to Taureans for the first part of May, and to Geminis after the Sun moves into your sign on the 20th.
There's so many powerful alignments this month and ancient celebrations like Beltaine on the 6th, and Wesak on the 9th, that we will all feel uplifted and re-directed to our purpose. This is an especially powerful full moon on the 9th, with the emanations from the center of our Galaxy coming to us (see info above), and the ceremony/earth activation of the Mayan Elders in France.
We start the month with Mercury retrograde on the 7th, a time when things can seem a little discombobulated - to use an appropriate phrase - and disconnected. But not to worry! Saturn goes direct on the 16th, and we'll all feel like we just aced our Mid-terms, and stalwart Saturn approves of the job we've done so far.
But wait, there's more!
We have the astrological event of the year beginning on May 20th, when Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are all in the same degree at 27* Aquarius. This is the first time in at least 2,000 years that these planets have ‘shared the same space' so to speak, and the effects will be profound.
Neptune's spiritual focus employs Chiron's healing aspects and Jupiter's importance amplifies the tri-fecta to lift all of us to a higher vision of global consciousness.
What a month!
Gifts...The Birth of the Divine Plan Within You!
As noted above, the period between May 9 - 11th will be an incredible potent time for us to align ourselves with the highest aspect of the creative forces of the Universe, our Higher selves, and the Divine Plan. Set aside some time within that period to go into retreat, prayer, and focus on all that your truly desire, envisioning the absolute Perfection of Who You Are, your spiritual journey, and the path that lay before you. Utilize the Affirmation given for this month during that time, and align with All That Is.
