Gift...Light Energy!
This month's newsletter was delayed a couple of days because I was chasing a dream. Stepping outside the box, I put energy and intention toward a new path that would involve doing what I love. June is the perfect time to take stock of where you are in relation to what you want, and make the necessary changes to move you in that direction.
June arrived in the Mayan Galactic Tone of "5" which, I'm very glad to say, represents "Empowerment", as illustrated on the MayanMajix.com website's daily Tzolkin calendar. "At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application." Add to that the Sun sign for June 1st, "Crocodile/Imox", which the Maya viewed as a receiver of messages relating to Primal Creative forces, and represents the beginning of all things.

For those of you who are new to receiving my newsletter, the Grand Maya Itza Council, speaking in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico in November 2008 released the following information. "Every Full Moon we are going to make a spiritual journey to every one of the sacred sites on the list, starting our first ceremony on November 13, 2008, and continuing that way until carrying out the last ceremony on December 28, 2012, completing an initiatic cycle of 52 moons. The ancient Mayas used to make these spiritual journeys to the ancient ceremonial centers in order to activate all the sacred sites from all around the world. During the ceremony, both the ritual conductors as well as the whole humankind will be asked to keep their minds clear so that our understanding ability can be illumined and we can understand the wisdom of the universal intelligence."

Thymus Activation At this time of year, as seasons change and allergies affect many and stress can cause the immune system to weaken, a simple tool to use is to activate your Thymus gland by tapping on it several times with your fingers or closed fist. The Thymus is located in the upper chest, behind the sternum. Give it 10 good whacks, and follow that with some deep breaths.

Did You Know? .....
The world's oldest astronomical observatory - a stone circle found in Egypt - predates Stonehenge by 1,000 years? In the southern Sahara desert lies a stone ring and standing megalithic stones that dates from the period 6,700 to 7,000 years ago! The article first appeared in Scientific American in April/1998, and described the site near Nabta in the Nubian desert. According to the article, "J. McKim Malville of the Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences at the University of Colorado and his colleagues conducted a survey using a global positioning satellite that confirms the stones' alignment north-south, east-west and to the summer solstice sun as it would have been seen 6,000 years ago.. The scientists reported their results in the April 2, 1998 issue of Nature." Evidence at the site shows occupation by Neolithic herders, and includes bones, pottery and ritualistic burial of animals. Blog: Driving Down the Road - Part II
If you read last month's Blog, then you'll know it was a squirrel who gave me a lesson on Buddha's "Middle Path", with an added dose of prudence. This month's article also comes from the same road, a twisting, curving, tree covered asphalt ribbon that takes me from an emerald forest into the southeast's art deco capital.
It was time for my daily talk with God*, and frankly, time for God to show that He* was listening. I remembered my walk on the beach in December when I asked Him to show me an example of His Love, when within minutes a perfect palm sized coral heart washed up at my feet from an endless ocean. Good time to ask again, I thought to myself. And ask I did.
"God, show me the miracle of your Love for me today", I said aloud as I drove the ribbon downtown to a meeting. Within seconds, a mountain man driving a red pick-up truck came careening toward me, over the yellow line, and continued past me almost clipping my left rear quarter panel which surely would have sent me spinning through a guardrail and over an embankment.
I admit, my initial shock was followed by a teeny bit of judgment at the man's driving ability, and was followed thereafter by a realization.
"Boy God, you don't waste any time!" I exclaimed, remembering what I had just asked for, and aware that something had just saved me from a driver who took his half of the road from my side. It set me to wonderin', as folks would say in these mountains I love......How many times does God show us the miracle of His Love, and we miss it? Would this be the first of many examples to see today f I were only paying attention?
Thankful for yet another wisdom teaching along this Zen journey we call driving, I made it a point to pay better attention to the signs along the way.

Happy Birthday Geminis! Your keyword is "I Think" and your ruling planet of Mercury makes you a good communicator. And speaking of Mercury, aren't we ALL glad that it is once again direct? Though this seemed a softer gentler retrograde than previous ones!
We enter the month still in the energy of the Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron alignment which will continue for another couple of weeks. This ties in to the energy of starting new projects aligned with your soul purpose this month. The Full Moon occurs on the 7th in Sagitarius (remember the Mayan Ceremony at Coba Mexico) while the Moon squares Jupiter and interestingly, opposes the Sun.
One of the highlights this month is of course the Summer Solstice, taking place on the 21st at 1:46am when the Sun moves into Cancer. It is followed by a very powerful New Moon on the 22nd, and I encourage you to truly plant your dreams that day.

This month, several planets are visible in the morning sky: Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter, but be careful not to confuse Venus and Mars, simply know that Venus is the brighter of the two! In the evening sky, you can look for Saturn.
Fertile dreams will come to fruition in the energy of Cancer as we enter July, and expect a very active month with a lunar eclipse on the full moon of the 7th and a solar eclipse on the new moon of the 21st! More on that in next month's column!
