In previous newsletters and lectures the last couple of years, I've been able to connect with the universal imprint of the energy that will be influencing our year ahead, in conjunction with our individual creations. 2007 was the year of Spiritual Harvest where we began reaping seeds that had been sown lifetimes ago. 2008 was a year of Mastery and the Union of Light and Dark. 2009 was a year of Manifestation, all of which have brought us to the threshold we now stand upon. The unfolding of all these cycles has led us to a pivotal point, the point of no return, where your decisions and the path you now choose will deeply influence the journey your life takes from this point forward. There is no turning back.
The Mayan Galactic Tone for 2010 is amazing, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked it up. 1/1/10 corresponds to the Tone of 11, which as you know from previous issues, is a very powerful Master Number. Eleven represents "Resolution", as 11 "assists every new creation to find its place in the Universe", according to the MayanMajix.com website's daily Tzolkin calendar. "Eleven is the energy of dynamic actions facilitating change, simplification and improvement." A very auspicious omen!
January arrives in the Mayan Sun Sign for "Eagle" (Tz'ikin *Men) which "acts as the intermediary between Heaven and Earth". The energy of the Eagle is one that facilitates "achieving material abundance and good fortune. Eagle brings trust on the wings of hope and spirit" and their "compassionate service to others sustains their prosperity." A very powerful animal totem guides our way this year, and I hope you will clip this paragraph out as a gentle reminder that your journey is truly blessed! Throughout the coming year, you will always be sustained, nourished, protected and uplifted.

By the way, those of you born in 1962 will be very happy to know that this will be your year! The Chinese New Year occurs on February 14th, and it will be the Year of the Tiger.

All Life, all Good, all Power.
Three are the qualities of God in his light-home
Infinite Power, Infinite Wisdom, Infinite Love.
Three are the circles (or states) of Existence:
The Circle of Light where dwells nothing but God,
and only God can traverse it,
The Circle of Chaos where all things by nature arise from Death,
The Circle of Awareness where all things spring from Life.
All things animate are of three states of existence,
Chaos or death, liberty in humanity, and felicity of Heaven. "

Do you take a moment to connect each month with the sacred sites being activated by Mayan Elders and their emissaries? The Grand Maya Itza Council, speaking in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico in November 2008 released the following information. Did any of us ever envision ourselves turning the calendar over to 2010? I'm not sure the realization has sunken in that we have come this far.
Doomsday prophets and earth change gurus had said long ago we would be destroyed by now. It is true that 2009 saw the demise of many things, and millions of people around the world had their lives irrevocably altered or shattered altogether. And yet, amidst the chaos, something remains.... Hope.
Maybe it's the energy of Hope that keeps me Believing in infinite possibilities, even when reality might suggest otherwise. After all, wasn't that the energy present at the birth of our Universe 15.4 billion years ago? From something as small as a seed in the palm of your hand, everything we know in the physical realm was born in an act of Divine Creation, exhaled in a moment's breath of infinite possibility.
That is the true Potential of the Void, the character of Hope. It is this essence which we can embrace as we start a New Year, and approach the blank canvas of our lives with brush and paint in hand. Let us claim our birthright anew in fresh energy, free from the bonds of past challenges and perceived failures from what is now ancient history.
So many people begin the year looking at the mountain, believing they have to ascend to its height in breakneck speed, instead of realizing small, slow, steady steps with our eyes and heart focused on the goal will get us where we want to be.
We can choose a clean slate and fresh start to the year simply by choosing to let go, and see our world day by day full of limitless potential.
We can choose to create the world we desire.
We can choose to Believe.

Happy Birthday Aquarius! And yes, this month when the Sun moves into your sign on the 19th, it IS all about you! Aquarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion, and as your keyword is "I know", we see that higher quest for evolution on all levels realized under your sign. Jupiter's partner dance with Neptune in Aquarius is about to end, as Jupiter will be moving into Pisces on the 17th.
We begin our New Year with Mercury and Mars in retrograde, on the heels of the Full Moon Lunar eclipse, so if you found things not working well, or felt a little looney yourself, consider it perfectly natural. I don't know about you, but this particular combination proved to be rather potent for me.
We have time to step back and re-prioritize our life as Saturn goes retrograde in Libra on the 13th and gives us a little breather. The profoundly powerful Moon influences continue mid-month as we experience a Solar Eclipse during the Capricorn New Moon on the 15th, and it is further amplified as Mercury moves direct the same day. A very powerful alignment which will bring purpose to projects you've begun, or are now envisioning, and you may expect them to have far-reaching impact.
On the 18th, Venus enters Aquarius just before the Sun, and it becomes a harmonizing influence for those of you who have had a touch a Grand Central Head. The Full Moon occurs this month in Leo on the 30th, and as Leo rules the Heart, the Venusian influence in Aquarius brings a stronger feeling of Love to the forefront. I would note that this Full Moon conjuncts Mars, also in Leo now retrograde, which might add to heightened emotions and impulsive behavior.
We finish the month as Saturn squares Pluto on the 31st, and the square represents what some consider a difficult energy, as two forces oppose one another. Saturn, the planet of Karma: the planet of manifestation through limitation, works against Pluto, which represents transformation through destruction. Be very conscious of your actions as this energetic ribbon unfolds.
A quick look at how the Planets will spend their year:
Mercury begins the year retrograde in Capricorn, and ends the year in Sagittarius.
Venus begins the year in Capricorn, and ends the year in Virgo.
Mars starts out retrograde in Leo, and wraps up 2010 in Capricorn.
Jupiter jumps out of the gates in Aquarius, and finishes the race this year in Pisces.
Saturn spends the entire year in Libra.
Uranus follows suit and takes its time traveling this year through Pisces.
Neptune continues its transit of Aquarius.
Pluto remains in ambitious Capricorn.
By the way, we will close out 2010 with quite a bang! A Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on the Winter Solstice!
All of the forecasts I've read suggest we will continue to see great changes taking place this year across the globe, as the old paradigms fight to keep their ground against the powerful force of change and uplifted consciousness sweeping around the Earth.
As often as you can this year, look to the Heavens, take in a breath of sky, and capture the light of the stars at night.
