Have you begun feeling how different the energies are for 2008? There's a noticeable distinction between where we are now, and where we were at the end of 2007...just five short weeks ago! Integrating the Light is something I'll be talking about on an upcoming conference call on the 21st....but more about that in a moment.....
Many people are experiencing friends and family ‘slipping their earthly bonds' and returning home....I've been touched by three passings in as many weeks....and I want to recommend the "Bach Flower Remedies" found in most health food stores for emotional balancing and dealing with trauma or grief. 1) "Rescue Remedy" mixes 5 different essences to immediately bring a greater sense of peace and calm when a trauma occurs; 2) "Star of Bethlehem" helps one who has suffered a recent shock or loss of a loved one, and is also for grief. You can e-mail me to learn more about the remedies, or for a personal recommendation related to your individual situation at

Please press...*6....on your keypad when you join the call to mute external background noise. Find out more about Maria and her work on our Resources page at http://www.the12keys.com .
On February 21st at 7:00pm/est join me for "Integrating the Light", an hour long discussion of the integration process we are all walking through at this time. Just call (712)775-7000 and enter the access code 421902#, and after joining the call, please press....*6.....on your keypad. Please share this with your friends, and be there! In February we seem to go ga-ga over Expressing our Love - and we're adding hearts and angels in our Gift Store this month. What would be really wonderful.....is if you would focus on simply loving yourself.....so often we direct our energies to loving and supporting others. How about spending February really focusing on loving Who You Are? With all your Beauty and blemishes and Radiance and warts. All of YOU!
Keep reading, and you'll learn more about using essential oils. The blend we have featured this month is Highest Potential, one of my favorites, and the name says it all. You can order some in our Online Store. You can also find a downloadable .pdf about essential oils on the Resources page at our website The12Keys.com .
This Month, We Recommend... We're gonna buck the established wisdom that says, "Whatever you do - don't include links that take people away from your website!"....because we know this is important!....and we believe you'll read our newsletter in its entirety!
The Animal Rescue Site....click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals....It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on the purple box "fund food for animals" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned and neglected animals in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know....
http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/
You'll also be able to "tab" and click to: give free food, provide free mammograms, children's healthcare, give free books to children, help protect endangered habitat....and it only takes a minute each day to make a difference!
The Shift Movie....coming soon.....check it out!

Millions of people are now awakening to the truth that we are living in very special times. This month, may you express all the love You Are....

Focus for the Month: Integration
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who transcended this week, said "Do not battle the darkness. Bring the light, and the darkness will disappear." Sometimes it truly feels as if a war is taking place within us as we seek to bring duality into wholeness. It is part of the journey each soul must experience as the process of awakening unfolds.
Instead of it being seen as a battle, shift your perspective, and see it as a Divine Dance. Thank the aspect of ego that broadens your vision through the understanding of shadow, for it increases your awareness and gratitude for the growing light of illumination arising within the soul. Embrace the opportunity to integrate all aspects of all that you are.
Affirmation for February:
Beloved Source Of All That Is, I Pray To Bring All Aspects Of My Being - Past, Present and Future - Into Illumination Of The I Am Presence.
Blog: Any Day Can Be A Perfect Day
Recently my husband Russ and I were headed to a Kiwanis lunch meeting at a club about an hour a way. Yes, we're Kiwanians....and you may have no idea what that means. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one community, and one child at a time. Our club was founded in 1919, and devotes its time to projects that help kids. Russ is Lt. Governor for our Division of nine clubs, and I am heading up a district project for North and South Carolina in partnership with The Health Adventure, a children's science and education museum (on my website, see "Paths to Inspiration - Service" section).
Anyway, we were traveling there to induct three new members, and present a special service award the club arranged to honor their only remaining founding member as a surprise. As we waited in a parking lot that morning to see if any other folks would join us for this meeting, a man materialized out of nowhere and asked us what time it was. I rolled the window down to talk with him, and he asked us if we had a minute.
With pain filled eyes, he began to tell us how he had arrived there that day. A story of struggle and challenge poured out, and he told us that he really just wanted someone to talk to. We listened, compassion filling our hearts, and gave him money so he could get something to eat. It's not unusual for that to happen, but it was strange how he appeared in the middle of an empty lot without our having seen him when we pulled in. We were both filled with intense gratitude for all that we have, and all the ways the universe provides us to be in service to others. As Russ was finalizing his remarks for the meeting, he came across this quote, one he would later use to relate the experience we had just had.....
"You cannot live a perfect day without doing something for someone
who will never be able to repay you." John Wooden, College Coach
Every morning the sun rises, painting the horizon crimson and lavender and bringing with the dawn the promise of a new day. It doesn't matter if you didn't get your project done yesterday, or if you cheated on your diet, or fell off the wagon, or were unkind to yourself. Each day starts with that promise - it's a new day, and filled with opportunities just waiting for you.....
I pray that today, you experience a perfect day.
HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS.....
There are many different ways to incorporate essential oils into your daily routine. One of the easiest ways is to put a drop or two into the palm of your hands, rub briskly and bring your hands up to your nose and inhale. You can also work the oil's frequency throughout your auric field, place a few drops in your bath water, put drops in an unscented candle and burn.
1) AROMATHERAPY
Direct Inhalation: Directly inhale the oil from the bottle.
Diffusion: Use Young Living's Essential Oil Diffuser to disperse oil in a micro-fine vapor into the air.
Humidifier: Fill a humidifier with water then place a tissue or cloth, sprinkled with a few drops of oil, in front of the escaping vapor.
Steam: Place a few drops of oil in hot water, cover your head and the container with a towel, and breathe deeply and slowly.
2) TOPICAL APPLICATION
Direct: Essential oils can be applied directly to the crown of the head, to the temples, behind the ears, over vital organs, to the feet and many other locations. Dilution may be required.
Massage: Essential oils can be used before, during, and after therapeutic massage.
Perfume: With natural, earth, and exoti8c aromas, essential oils can also be worn as perfume.
3) INTERNAL USE
Capsule: Add several drops of oil into an empty capsule and swallow with water.
Water or Milk: Add 1-2 drops of oil to a glass of water or rice milk.
Bread: Add 1-2 drops of oil on a piece of bread.
Cooking: Use oils in place of herbs and spices in your everyday cooking.
Blue Agave: Add 1-2 drops of essential oil into a teaspoon of Young Living's Blue Agave sweetener.
Direct: Drop directly into the tongue and swallow.

It’s In The Stars
Happy Birthday Aquarius! Your key word is "I Know", and as the Water Bearer of the zodiac - often shown as the Energy Bearer -you are represented with a solar stream of cosmic energy pouring forth - this is very much in keeping with your nature as a humanity focused sign.
Did you see the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in the pre-dawn sky on the 1st? It was beautiful, and we have all been feeling the expansion of love as a result. Venus then moves into Aquarius - joining the Sun, Mercury and Neptune - on the 17th. The powerful Solar Eclipse on the 6th coupled with a new moon in Aquarius has thoughts and feelings coming up from our inner depths to be illuminated. The Chinese New Year begins on the 7th , welcome to the year of the Rat! According to Infoplease.com " Legend has it that in ancient times, Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on Chinese New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one. He announced that the people born in each animal's year would have some of that animal's personality. Those born in rat years tend to be leaders, pioneers, and conquerors. They are charming, passionate, charismatic, practical and hardworking. Unlike the Western linear calendar used in the United States, the Chinese calendar features a cyclical dating method that repeats every 60 years. The calendar is based on two cycles that interact with each other-the Chinese zodiac, which is divided into 12 parts, and the five elements. The five elements are metal, water, wood, fire, and earth.
Each year of the Chinese Zodiac is represented by a different animal: the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. The five elements are assigned to the 12 animals (years), giving different characteristics to each animal (year). Assigning each of the five elements to the 12 years creates 60 different combinations that result in a 60-year cycle. The concept of Yin and Yang also affects the Chinese Zodiac by assigning opposing forces to each animal sign-odd years are Yin years and even years are Yang years. Yin is perceived as earth, female, dark, and passive. Yang is perceived as male, heaven, light, and active. Considering that the Chinese Zodiac was created thousands of years ago, it is not surprising that there are several interpretations of its origin. Most agree, however, that the 12 animals on the Chinese Zodiac calendar were the animals that appeared in response to an invitation to a celebration from Buddha or the Jade Emperor. Another legend says that the animals fought over their place on the calendar. In order to fairly resolve the conflict, the gods had them race across a river. The order of the animals on the calendar reflects their completion of the race-the rat placing first and the pig finishing last. Although Buddha is the central figure in many stories about the origin of the Chinese Zodiac, there is some evidence that suggests the Chinese Zodiac may predate Buddhism. Early Chinese astronomers devised a system based on the 12-year orbit of Jupiter to tell time. The system included 12 earthly branches and existed long before Buddhism. "
Also this month we experience a total Lunar Eclipse on the 20th, which coincides with the Full Moon in Virgo! The eclipse will be fully visible for eastern and central North America, beginning at 8:43pm/est and in totality at 10:01pm/est, ending at 12:09 am/est. A Lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is positioned between the Sun and the Moon. This will add to our broader experience of that which we call shadow coming into the light.
Other planetary movements to watch this month: Mercury, still in Aquarius, goes direct on the 18th . The Sun moves into compassionate Pisces on February 19th .
