The Essential Oil we're highlighting this month is: ReleaseTM , - combining uplifting, calming oils that stimulate a sense of peace and emotional well-being, which in turn facilitate the ability to release anger and frustration. Very much in line with the focus for the month, and April's Affirmation!
Focus for the Month:... "LETTING GO"
It was illuminating this week to listen to an old tape from a darshan I had attended in Hawaii given by my Guru some years back. In it, she talked about the meaning of true prosperity....and it is defined as how much you have let go of! In the letting go - of attachments, addictions, seductions, illusions, fears, doubts, judgments, and materialism, you are freed from the density of those vibrations, and free to embrace more of All That you Are. In the letting go, you open the space for creating more of what you truly desire
Affirmation for April:
Beloved Self, I Choose To Let Go Of All Attachments, Beliefs, Thoughts or Creations Not Aligned With Divine Truth, And Open Myself To Receiving The All Encompassing Light Of My I AM Presence.
So It Is.
I pray today for your Freedom....
Namaste'

Blog: Thank You, Chicago...
Recently I've been reading " The Path to Enlightenment" 1 by H.H. the Dalai Lama, a book that I've had for years and would pick up from time to time and flip through. It is a commentary by HH the Dalai Lama on The Essence of Refined Gold by the Third Dalai Lama of Tibet, Sonam Gyatso.
The chapter on ‘Generating the Bodhisattva Spirit' resonated with me for many reasons, which I'll come to in a minute. Not all of the tenets of Buddhism are aligned with my truth.....I don't believe you can reincarnate as an animal, and I do believe there is a Supreme Omniscient Loving Consciousness, Source, God, however you want to label IT. There are more differences, I'm sure. However, I find myself inspired by the Dalai Lama, the teachings of Buddha, and my spiritual path has been graced with powerful gifts from Buddha himself.
So it was I found myself preparing for two lectures in Chicago, a workshop in Grand Rapids and a conference call last month, all within the space of a week. Reading through the seven points of cause and effect to generate the ‘bodhimind' struck a deep cord within me. The bodhimind is described as the ‘awakened mind' of one who "aspires to highest enlightenment as a means of benefiting the world"2. The sixth point had me contemplating my mission as I prepared for these upcoming events.
"The Third Dalai Lama: Cause six: the extraordinary attitude, and the one effect, the bodhimind. Think, "However, do I have the power to accomplish these two wishes? Not to mention all sentient beings, I don't have the power to free even one from suffering nor place even one in transcendental happiness. For that very reason I made the resolve to attain perfect buddhahood, and if I now give up that resolve, surely I will fall into the lower realms. Yet I can do nothing to free beings from suffering and place them in peerless happiness until I have myself attained full buddhahood. I should immediately start working in every conceivable way to realize the state of complete, perfect enlightenment, samyaksambodhi, taking as the basis the thought to be able to free sentient beings from even the deepest suffering and bring them to ultimate joy."
The week before leaving was jammed full of stress, completing the taxes for my business and visit with the CPA, packing for the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo, planning and preparation. The 12 hour drive to Chicago included sitting on the interstate for an hour due to a terrible accident (we were safe, and our way perfect none the less). We arrived at our hotel about 10:30pm our time, and in 9½ hours would have to be setting up for the expo, fresh, invigorated, focused and an inspirational force of Spirit! Some might call that a tall order.
I prayed. Passionately, and throughout the night. To be connected to All That I Am, to be uplifted and empowered and effective.....to fulfill my mission, to show up and deliver the message.
We set up our booth the next morning, and when possible, prepared for my first lecture that afternoon. As the day unfolded, something quite profound and miraculous began happening. Every person that walked down the aisle, that passed by our booth or stopped to talk, was familiar to me. Not only did I recognize them, but knew them intimately. Looking upon them as family, I greeted them as brothers and sisters. My heart felt as big as the room. Deep love and tremendous compassion filled my heart for every person I saw or spoke with. Talking about this occurrence during my Sunday lecture, I commented that people must have thought me a little deranged as this strange woman was greeting them like long lost friends! It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I've touched this place before, but never lived it for 48 hours!
Thank you Chicago, for giving me the gift of experiencing the Unified Field. My gratitude goes out to every attendee and exhibitor of the Body, Mind, Spirit expo that weekend for bringing me the true knowing of The Bodhimind, and the awareness of how we generate the Spirit of the Bodhisattva regardless of our past, or the obstacles that might attempt to affect our present.

It’s In The Stars
Happy Birthday Aries! Your keyword is "I Am", and your most recognizable trait? Courage. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and as such, we all feel a sense of renewed energy as the Sun enters Aries combined with the coming of spring. Aries people are impulsive, optimistic and activists - they get things done.
The New Moon occurs on the 5th, and as I've said before, this phase is the right time to plant the seeds of your intentions for the coming month. Watch for a stunning crescent moon on the evening of the 8th, when the moon can be seen in conjunction with the Pleiades star cluster! The Full Moon occurs on the 20th, also the observance of Passover, in the sign of Scorpio.
In March, we witnessed a powerful alignment of five planets following the equinox. This month, from the 17th to the 21st, we see another harmonious alignment of several planets taking us into the energy of Taurus. A ‘Trine' is described as an angular relationship of 120 degrees between planets of congenial signs in the same element, and is viewed as the most harmonious aspect as the energies of these planetary bodies are blended. During this period of the full Moon and Passover, we will see the Sun trine Pluto and then Saturn, the Moon trine Jupiter, then Neptune, then Mars, then Uranus! Mercury also trines Pluto and then Saturn....all leading up to Earth Day on the 22nd....when consciousness will be focused around the globe toward uplifting the planet. What a powerful time! Watch for the Lyrid Meteor Showers in the pre-dawn southern skies on the 22nd, associated with the Thatcher Comet. The Sun officially enters Taurus on the 19th, and we'll feel a bit of grounding of these heavenly energies into the earthy sign of The Bull.
What I really want to talk about is NASA's announcement of the beginning of a new solar cycle, #24, which was signaled by solar changes in January*. "New solar cycles always begin with a high-latitude, reversed polarity sunspot," explains David Hathaway of the Marshall Space Flight Center. "Reversed polarity" means a sunspot with opposite magnetic polarity compared to sunspots from the previous solar cycle. "High-latitude" refers to the sun's grid of latitude and longitude. Old cycle spots congregate near the sun's equator. New cycle spots appear higher, around 25 or 30 degrees latitude. Solar activity waxes and wanes in 11-year cycles. Lately, we've been experiencing the low ebb, "very few flares, sunspots, or activity of any kind," says Hathaway. According to www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2008/20080104_sunspot.html , "A sunspot is an area of highly organized magnetic activity on the surface of the sun. The new 11-year cycle, called Solar Cycle 24, is expected to build gradually, with the number of sunspots and solar storms reaching a maximum by 2011 or 2012, though devastating storms can occur at any time.*
During a solar storm, highly charged material ejected from the sun may head toward Earth, where it can bring down power grids, disrupt critical communications, and threaten astronauts with harmful radiation. Storms can also knock out commercial communications satellites and swamp Global Positioning System signals. Routine activities such as talking on a cell phone or getting money from an atm.
The onset of a new solar cycle is significant because of our increasingly space-based technological society. "Solar storms can disable satellites that we depend on for weather forecasts and GPS navigation," says Hathaway. Radio bursts from solar flares can directly interfere with cell phone reception while coronal mass ejections (CMEs) hitting Earth can cause electrical power outages. "The most famous example is the Quebec outage of 1989, which left some Canadians without power for as much as six days." Air travel can be affected, too.
"Solar storms have a big effect on polar regions of our planet," says Steve Hill of the Space Weather Prediction Center. "When airplanes fly over the poles during solar storms, they can experience radio blackouts, navigation errors and computer reboo ts all caused by space radiation." Avoiding the poles during solar storms solves the problem, but it costs extra time, money and fuel to "take the long way around."*
Now for the good news: More solar storms also means more auroras-"the greatest show on Earth." During the last solar maximum, Northern Lights were spotted as far south as Arizona, Florida and California. Not so long ago, only visitors to the Arctic regularly enjoyed auroras, but with increasing attention to space weather and constantly improving forecasts, millions of people at all latitudes will know when to go out and look.
Much of this is still years away. "Intense solar activity won't begin immediately," notes Hathaway. "Solar cycles usually take a few years to build from solar minimum (where we are now) to Solar Max, expected in 2011 or 2012."
