The Commitment of Believing
Each month I prepare for writing and editing my newsletter via many paths. The energies moving through our lives, and those of people around the country we connect with, are viewed and considered. Input from Spirit is sought and received, messages are found in nature, the front page, ideas come, discussions unfold, miracles and challenges manifest and flow....like a river.
During a group call recently, a dear friend was considering a geographical move, finally uttering, "If I don't move, I'll die" in an expression of her soul's desire to expand through change. In that instant, she recognized the deep Commitment to her own Becoming, and saw that taking a leap of faith was what was required.
The next day or two, a professional colleague approached her with the possibility of a new position that would further her career, but perhaps not feed her soul. In a subsequent discussion, many of us offered our perspective on her process. My sense, and that which I conveyed to her, was that once our soul has made a commitment and a decision that takes us on a new path, leaving the old behind, we will be given the opportunity to confirm our choice by way of being tested. Now, some people believe that God, or the Powers That Be In The Universe, enjoy seeing us squirm. I doubt it, but go ahead and believe that if it makes you feel good.
I Believe that major spiritual moves forward require 100% conviction and commitment and passion for them to unfold in the fullness the Soul desires. Perhaps it's the ego testing us - or another aspect of ourselves that might seek to dis-empower by way of sabotaging ourselves. Whatever. Doesn't matter. Another friend suggested the tests come in 3's, so be on the lookout.
The point is to be clear about your decision, re-affirm your commitment to the perfect unfolding, and all ways being made open and perfect for you. That is using conscious choice.
Then, your thoughts and feelings and words and actions must support that choice.
Russ and I have been working on a large project for almost a year, putting a lot of energy toward seeing it come to fruition, and movement unfolding. We've prayed about it. A lot. Said lots of affirmations. Too many to count. And have redirected ourselves (thoughts, feelings, words, actions) way beyond a number that could be counted. Now we are seeing the seeds we planted sprouting, and everything is moving so beautifully and effortlessly and for our greatest benefit. And, perfectly, we have been tested in the last couple of days, but I think we're past three. Whatever. Doesn't matter.
Riding in the car Monday night, I had printed off my August Blog to read again with Russ, and to prepare for the new one to be written. Amazing how relevant it was to what we were now experiencing. The Energetic Focus for August was about "Willingness" and my Blog about our being willing to let go of old patterning that blocks the flow of what we want from manifesting in our lives. I spent last month looking at what I might still be holding on to, and as noted, have been saying YES to the Universe for a year. It's working beautifully.
Gratefully, I'm here to tell you to continue Believing, and that your Deep Commitment to Becoming is being called for in this moment.
